The Kiwi all-rounder Glenn Phillips is known for his explosive hitting, electric fielding and handy off-spin. Born in South Africa, he moved to New Zealand at the age of five and has since developed into one of their most dynamic white-ball cricketers. His ability to impact games across departments - including doubling up as a wicketkeeper - adds significant depth to his skill set. Phillips has been a consistent presence in New Zealand’s white-ball squads over the past five years, with his power-hitting standing out. He has two T20I hundreds to his name: a 46-ball century against West Indies, then the fastest by a New Zealander, and a 64-ball 104 against Sri Lanka in the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, underlining his ability to deliver on the big stage. A regular on the global T20 circuit, Phillips has had TATA IPL stints with Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Gujarat Titans secured him for INR 2 crore at the 2025 auction and he remains a key option in their squad for 2026.
